At the Divine Rebellion Mini Festival, we ask that all facilitators, core staff, and faculty assistants refrain from engaging in sexual interactions with students during the event. While we fully encourage warm hugs, cuddle puddles, sexy dancing, and light touch in temple spaces (like massage), forming new romantic or sexual relationships–including kissing, genital touch, or intercourse–outside of any previously existing partnerships is not permitted during the festival.

I know this topic can be controversial, so I want to share why this boundary is important to us. First, our facilitators are here to support the entire group, not just a select few. Their presence and focus are essential for holding the unique group energy and ensuring everyone feels included and cared for.

Second, we can't ignore the power dynamics that naturally exist between teachers and students, especially in a space where participants are invited into vulnerability and exploring new practices–many of which may be completely unfamiliar. Our facilitators are here to guide you through these experiences with safety and integrity, supporting your growth and exploration without the added complexity of navigating new intimate relationships at the same time.
