Frequently Asked Questions
General questions:
What is the Divine Rebellion Festival?
The Divine Rebellion - Mini Tantra Festival - a celebration of conscious connection, embodiment, and personal growth. Through interactive workshops, movement, and shared experiences, we create a welcoming space for transformation, healing, and joyful exploration.
What makes us different?
Radical Inclusion: We welcome every story, background, and expression. Diversity isn’t just accepted—it’s celebrated.
Collective Accountability: We foster a community where mistakes are met with humility and growth, not shame.
Tantra as Rebellion: We honor Tantra’s roots as a movement that challenged tradition and reclaimed embodied experience.
Pleasure & Play as Sacred: Joy, play, and pleasure are central and seen as transformative, not frivolous.
Beyond the Festival: We’re not just an event—we’re building a living, breathing tapestry of community and lasting change.
Healing & Repair: We intentionally create space for healing, growth, and honest connection.
What Type of Tantra Will Be Presented at Divine Rebellion?
At Divine Rebellion: A Mini Tantra Festival, we honor the full spectrum of Tantra—from ancient roots to modern evolution. Our offerings weave together practices from the right-hand path (Dakshinachara) and left-hand path (Vamachara), along with Kriya Yoga and Neo-Tantra, creating a rich, multidimensional experience.
The right-hand path focuses on inner cultivation through mantra, meditation, breathwork, and devotional ritual—grounding us in stillness and awareness. The left-hand path invites transformation through embodied exploration of desire, shadow, and sacred sexuality, held with deep integrity, safety, and consent.
We also offer powerful Kriya Yoga practices to awaken energy and clarity, and accessible Neo-Tantra workshops that blend movement, emotional release, intimacy practices, and modern embodiment.
This is a non-dogmatic, inclusive, trauma-informed space. We’re not tied to any one lineage—we honor Tantra as a path of embodied connection, spiritual awakening, and joyful liberation. Expect a weekend of presence, play, depth, and heart-led transformation.
Do I need previous experience in Tantra to attend?
Not at all. Many attendees are new to Tantra. Workshops are accessible to beginners and enriching for more experienced practitioners. Come solo, with friends, or with a partner. You’ll find welcoming community either way.
Festival Theme 2025?
The ongoing theme is woven into the name and manifesto: Divine Rebellion. For 2025, the emphasis is on “Radical Connection, Embodied Joy, and Courageous Transformation.” We’re creating a space where attendees are invited to challenge norms, celebrate pleasure as a sacred act, and practice authentic connection.
Why are we doing this?
To spark transformation: We believe joy, connection, and accountability are the antidote to a world that asks us to shrink or divide.
To reclaim embodiment: We want to challenge old paradigms and invite people into fuller, richer experiences of themselves and each other.
To build community: We’re weaving a network of courageous, open-hearted humans who are committed to growth, healing, and joy.
To honor Tantra’s legacy: We’re inspired by Tantra’s rebellious spirit and its potential to catalyze change—both personally and collectively.
Anything beyond Tantra is available at the festival?
